Randy comes to Stone Canyon after playing with some of the finest bands in Virginia and North Carolina since the 1960's.

Randy started his musical career while attending High School.  He played keyboards and sang for "The Noble" from 1964 to 1967.  During his college years Randy was a member of "The Soulsations."  They played at Virginia Tech for dances & frat parties, and in the popular Roanoke clubs like The Colonial Hills Club, The Thunderbird Club, and New Wood from 1968 to 1970.

In 1970 The Soulsations changed their name to "Men Of Distinction" and stared touring full time up and down the east coast club circuit through 1972.  They were the house band for Roanoke's popular "Foxes Den" from 1973 to 1974.  Randy was also freelancing for many of Roanoke's popular artist such as "Gene Thomas" and "Foremost".

From 1976 until 1983 Randy was working with "Ozz".  "Southwind" needed his talents and came calling in 1983.  He was with them until 1985 and then from 1986 to 1992.  1992 also saw Randy frellancing again and then in 1997 Randy got onboard with "Encore" and was with them through 2009.

In the fall of 2009 Jeff was looking for an additional keyboardist and vocalist who could help Stone Canyon create an even bigger sound.  Randy was asked to join and his arrival has given the band the opportunity to have four vocalists who can sing lead and harmony parts as well as a second keyboard player which allow exciting arrangements for the songs the band plays.

Randy is a true professional who loves to share his talents with music lovers everywhere.
