Keith comes from a musical family that includes his father who loves bluegrass music.  Keith's own musical journey began in 1969 at the age of 8.  He studied piano, organ, and music theory.  By the age of 13 he had also developed an interest in percussion instruments and played in the School marching band.  However, after five years of musical studies his main interest and passion became the bass guitar.

Throughout his High School and College years, the role of the bass guitar in music groups inspired and excited Keith to listen to and study many artists and work to become more than just an everyday bassist.  Now, many years later, Keith has played bass guitar for individuals, groups and bands, as well as in recording sessions.

Keith is married and lives in Roanoke, VA.
